Wendler Correctional Facility

You don't need to spend hours every day on each of these things; a little bit of consistency over a long period of time will work wonders.  Not only will you learn something but you will also feel better about yourself.  You will feel accomplished and have a purpose. Be patient but be efficient; don't waste your life wasting your time.

Who Should Do Neck and Why?

Who Should Do Neck and Why?

A couple years ago, I was involved in a motorcycle accident.  While riding on I-70, I was struck from behind by a speeding car.  Can you guess what the asshole driver was doing?  It rhymes with "nexting".

4 Ways to Physically Dominate

If you don't work with athletes there is still plenty to take away here.  If you do work with athletes and you're realizing that your entire strength training approach is a disaster, start with just one of the above and don't give up on the journey.

Getting Surgery?

Getting Surgery?

My response to a question regarding recovery:

I don't know how your surgery/back problems relate to mine but I'm going to assume that they are somewhat similar. I had trouble training, walking, sitting, sleeping... living. I had severe nerve impingement, sciatic pain and massive leg pain on both sides all the way down to the foot. However, it did give me a good excuse to fly first class...I just told me wife I needed more room. More room for free alcohol.

Massive Conspiracy To End All Weakness

Massive Conspiracy To End All Weakness

In the last 13 weeks I also purloined the framework from Jim Wendler to construct THE strongest version of myself to date. Building Strong Kids - A 5/3/1 Testimonial

Your program is great but honestly, your message is WAY better than any grouping of sets/reps. There are a lot of Scheme Geniuses on HS sidelines these days. But the great coaches are those leaders who understand there is a hell of a lot more to the game than scheme. And at 43 years of age, I have learned that life is the EXACT same way.

Why We Train

Why We Train

If you don't have time to watch this, in short: because we are animals. Men are being declawed and our teeth are getting dull. Our bodies and minds were never meant to spend half of our day laying around and the other half on our knees.

Time To Man Up

What I would prescribe for you is to get rid of all these silly, pathetic and disgusting notions of what you think a man should look like and start over. I’m going to give everyone a huge hint here: no one gives a shit what you look like.

Jucifer

Anyone who is remotely interested in heavy music and/or the idea that volume can be an instrument knows Jucifer.  Jucifer is a two-piece band consisting of Amber (guitars) and Edgar (drums). They are a married couple and ditched "normal life";...

What You Do Matters

What You Do Matters

This is from the Jim Wendler forum. I wrote this almost 4 years ago and think it's important for people to read, especially young people who currently have jobs they hate.  Or maybe if you are years into your career and aren't sure about your choice.  Or maybe you downplay/criticize what others do in order to "put them in their place".
