Sand Hoodie

I don't keep up with the metal scene much anymore.  Part of it is because I already have thousands of amazing recordings and don't really need anymore.  The other part is the cowardice, hypocrisy and weakness of the metal community: the fans, the bands and the media as of late.  I'd just rather not be part of it these days.

When I see the "Best of the Year" lists, I always wonder how any of these new albums rank next to Slayer's Reign in Blood, Celtic Frost's Morbid Tales or Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. It reminds of something a very famous powerlifter once said to me when he was asked about one of the newest supplements, "Does it work better than Dianabol? No? Then why bother?"
